The Cripples Dirty Head (Dirtnap Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
The synthesized garage punk of The Cripples is addictive. It's quirky outlook and all-for-fun mindset equates to a non-stop party, as the hook-laden, punky songs blast out of your stereo and take you on a journey, whether you're ready or not. Innovative and cutting edge, The Cripples wear their influences on their sleeves, and in doing so create something not a lot of others are doing, either by accident or intentionally. Either way, it's a hootenanny, and you'll be pleased. I'll give it an A.
