 Female fronted indie-pop with ample hooks, the light, airy melodies and breezy vocals of Blake Hazard's Little Airplanes is refreshing. Though, this isn't a completely relaxed pop album. Blake Hazard knows how to rock out too, shaking and stirring up their songs with enough rock to keep things from going stale. Delivering songs that build and build before letting go, this is a rock band all the way through, one that can create the most beautiful, gentlest pop songs and then turn around and make you tap your toes and bop your head to an upbeat, but still pleasant pop song. I'll give it an A.
