The Beautiful Mistake (The Militia Group)

 Emo rockers that like to let you know how they're feeling, but haven't forgotten that rock is better served as a platform to make you get pumped up and sweaty than spending time on your friend's shoulder and crying about the problems of life. The Beautiful Mistake try to walk the fine line, dividing their time between watered down emo and loud, screaming rock. When they're blended, the band is at their best, wearing their hearts on their sleeve like every other emo band, but kicking ass in the process, unlike other emo acts. When they lean more towards one side than the other, they start to lose focus. I'll give this a C-.
