 Sexy music for fans who love musicians who love their fans. "Break up the Band", (the title track) unleashes romantic pop-rock soundscapes and brilliant guitar work in an eloquent culmination and demise of innocence that is Maybrick. "Without" issues sickly sweet lines of poetry such as "I can't survive without your love" beneath the kerrang of guitars and percussion bent on sweeping a crowd off of its feet. Delivering 9 tracks with nearly 43 total minutes of running time, winds whirl around the eye of the hurricane on a co-dependent lover's tale of woe riding on a storm of futuristic music that feels like perfection spilled into catchy chorus lines, and lovely ballads that leave you hanging around for the first strains of the very next song.
