From its airy, almost ghost like presence to its harrowing guest vocalists (including Calvin Johnson as the voice of the "Universe"), Elvrum's acoustic-based songs and light, subtle instrumentation fillings, Mount Eerie is both a nightmare and a dream. I'll give it an A-.
