 Recorded live in Portland, Oregon, at the Fez Ballroom, and covering material throughout the band's entire career, Sideshow Fez is Austin-based acoustic outfit Asylum Street Spankers' first DVD. Including everything they've done musically (or, at least, attempting to), hear as the band does everything from blues, country, rock, jazz, and ragtime, as well as everything in between, along with front man Wammo's trademark sense of humor and good-time style of living. Here is a band at the top of their game, delivering a sure-fire hit show that isn't to miss. However, if you're just a casual fan, you might be better suited for seeing the band live, rather than watching them on TV, if you want to experience the true Spankers show. However, if you've seen them live, than this DVD will tide you over again until the next time you get to see them. It's quite good, to say the least. I'll give it a B+.
