Kill Me Tomorrow
The Garbage Man and The Prostitute (Gold Standard Laboratories)

By: Alex Steininger

San Francisco-based art-punk outfit Kill Me Tomorrow deliver abrasive, edgy rock and roll with plenty of quirks, but make it danceable -- to say the least. And with their latest, The Garbage Man and the Prostitute the band delivers a concept album based on a garbage man who is also a werewolf that goes out on the night and kills redheaded women. Complete with a DVD that comes along with the CD, the band takes the project to the next level. However, on its own merits, The Garbage Man and The Prostitute more than stands on its own, the chaos working with the noise to create a dysfunctional, yet fully functioning sound that lives and breathes -- and makes you want to move. It's interesting, and your interest will only grow deeper with each listen as you go from puzzled to curious to entertained. I'll give it a B.
