 Fast-paced, in-your-face punk rock straight out of CBGB's circa 1972 is what you'll find here. The Briefs have done it again with Sex Objects, saving the gluttonous American rock scene with a slab of purely energetic, snotty, grimy noise that is as much sleaze as it is obnoxious, spitting in the face of anyone that doubts, disregards, or turns their head. It is rock 'n' roll as it was meant to be, simple, plain, and straight-ahead. If punk rock had only stayed this true, well, let's not even go there. This is a pleasurable disc that is as fun to get drunk to as it is to blast while you're driving down the street in your car. I'll give it an A-.
