 ILLOGICIST may have a lame moniker but they sure know how to execute nearly flawless technical/progressive death metal. Their razor sharp delivery is whetted on a combination of ATHEIST influenced avant-death and ferocious Floridian death virtuosity. This has enough teeth to take a bite out of fans that like it mean and lean while packing enough audio dynamics to resonate with those who prefer musical calisthenics. If, like me, you enjoy both sides of this same coin; then you might as well clear space on your CD shelves now.
