The Most High (Crash Music)

 VOLUME NOB take the nitty-gritty rawness that seems to be paramount in all extreme musick that emerges from New Orleans and injects it into a helter-skelter blending of metal, hardcore, and FEAR-influenced punk rock. It works. Instead of being a muddled concoction (which in less experienced hands it might have become) this is a full-frontal aural assault. On the CD the bands declares themselves to be the "Lords of Loud" and I can't think of a better description for this. I wonder if fans of the "Lords of the Loud" are "servants of severity"?
