 On this five-song EP, Gosling travels from the guitar onslaught of "I Am The Avocado", a fist-pounding, melodic rocker that switches between the screaming, aggressive intro to the softer, latter half, laden with hooks and a sweet spot. Through the string-enriched, rhythmic, mellow glow of "Chemical Drive", an anti-love song with a sharp hook that will have this song stuck in your head for days on it. They're a powerful band that can craft and catapult hook after hook your way, or they can turn up the volume and rock out, two sides they manage to fuse effortlessly on this EP. I'll give it a B+.
