Canada's Hidden Cameras'Mississagua, Goddam deliver sugary, swooning, sweet melodies on their indie-pop masterpiece, their sophomore full-length, and one that finds their pop abilities shining ever brighter. From the jangle-y opener "Doot Doot Plot". To the lush "Fear Is On". Or the A.M. radio smarts of "I Believe in the Good of Life". Through the traditional rock 'n' roll of "Bboy", Hidden Cameras know how to craft classic pop music - and make it sound rocking in the process. If you're a fan of unforgettable, timeless pop of yesteryear - but want it from a modern band - look no further. I'll give this an A-.
