Sloppy Meateaters Conditioned By The Laugh Track (Orange Peel Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Conditioned By The Laugh Track is all over the map. From the punk-inspired "Daywalker" and "Drags and Squares" to the hard-rocking modern rock of "Stop" to the quirky rock of "Serotonin", the band jumps around, playing sub genres of rock track after track. But, with a unique voice, the band brings them altogether to make their tongue-in-cheek punk-branded modern-rock sound work. They're louder than hook-y, but they aren't without their pop charms. It may take a few listens, but if you like pop-punk or modern rock that is just different enough, than you'll like this. I'll give it a B-.
