Let's get one thing out of the way. First, Janis Figure is a four-piece band of all males; nobody in this band is named Janis. Now that that is out of the way, let's get straight to the music. Janis Figure has perfect vocals for bloody, beer-drenched, getting high and fucking chicks rock 'n' roll. The music, though, tries so hard to be just that, but comes off as rockabilly-meets-pop-punk, and heavy on the pop-punk. The music just can't live up to the excitement or sheer power of the vocals, and that's a terrible shame, because if it did, we'd have some kings of rock on our hands here. I'll give this a C.
