Bobby & Jesse Masters of the Mandolin (Pinecastle) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
The album is appropriately titled Masters of the Mandolin. Though I like my mandolin playing slower and icier, adding a chilling tone to the songs rather than an uplifting, bouncy touch, Bobby & Jesse play with so much fire and drive you can't help but feel what they're feeling. And, after all, isn't that what music is all about? I'll give it a B-.
