The People Involved (The People Involved)

 Airy pop music and buzzing rock come face to face with The People Involved's self-titled full-length, a spacey, atmospheric combination of lightweight songs backed up by fierce animals, guitar-driven rockers geared at knocking you on your ass. And though the band is in the right direction, the band needs work. A few songs sound paper-thin at times; other times they lack the spark to really strike a chord with you. Still, they have a promising lead in the buzzing, yet spacious pop they tread in. I'll give it a C.
