 Paloalto's Heroes and Villains, their second record, showcases the band at their finest, creating well-written, and at times soaring pop hooks alongside lyrics you actually want to sing along with. With impeccable production and a lot of heart behind it, the indestructible pop of this Los Angeles-based quintet stands up against the toughest of scrutiny, as the melodies fly high, the bright, but rocking songs trailing right behind. I'll give it a B.
