Nothing But Themselves

Lately, a lot of bands such as Pearl Jam, Metallica and Aerosmith, have reached a stage in which their sound starts to change naturally and not because they want to. What some people can't understand is that the art comes from the artist, not the artist comes or is any kind of slave of what he has created in his past. We can not be disappointed, in any circumstances, with the changes that occurs to the sound of this or that band, it makes part of the natural evolution, music, especially rock, can not be tied to any padron, we may like or not the result of this process but never criticize the artist, it would be total ignorance. Even the ones who likes "static bands" as Ramones should understand, if you don't change you will stain. The rock will always be there, in all shapes for all tastes, so let it be.
