Nembrionic
Incomplete (Displeased Ronde Tocht)

By: Jeb Branin

My only previous exposure to this band was via their work with OSDORP POSSE, a Dutch hip hop act. An international student who used to live with my family here in the U.S. is a huge OSDORP POSSE fan and he played me most of their stuff including their metallic fusion with the music of NEMBRIONIC. I was quite surprised therefore to hear this CD. I was expecting more metal hip hop not this pure blood curdling death grind. Obviously the rap stuff was as big a departure for NEMBRIONIC as it was for O.P. The musical mayhem on 'Incomplete' is right up my alley. Raw, frantic, grinding, and ferocious are all good adjectives to describe this E.N.T. inspired insanity. The music is a sonic blast that is as gut wrenching as it is over the top. Don't let a fear of rap keep you away from this disc. The only thing to fear here is that this will be too intense for your puny little existence to handle.
