Super TransAtlantic
Super TransAtlantic (Universal Records)

By: Alex Steininger

Miami's four-piece Super TransAtlantic is your stereotypical modern rock band. The songs seem to fit in all-too-well with the music being forced down people's throats on radio these days. A bit poppy, some slick produced rock, and an overly sterile feeling, Super TransAtlantic's self-titled album is about as action-oriented as sitting on the couch watching TV.

There are a few songs on here that will catch your attention for a second or two ("Satellite), but there isn't anything here that will keep you for more than a listen or two. Rock is supposed to be dangerous, unpredictable, and fun. None of these elements are present in this album; here is corporate rock at its cleanest. I'll give it a D.
