The Holiday has Been Cancelled (Fat Wreck)

 Mad Caddies are a ska-punk band that should be despised for one reason: They create the most generic of generic pop-punk and ska- punk. But, even though the songs aren't that good, after reading the hilarious liner notes, I can't help but 'get' this band just a bit more than I did before I read them. They're a living musical joke in it for the fun and the ability to fuck-up and fuck around without anyone giving a shit. They're the epitome of a punk band touring the nation, drinking, partying, and having a blast. And that counts for something. After taking that into consideration, I like the album a bit more. But, I still think its generic pop-punk. I'll give it a C.
