Death On Wednesday
Buying The Lie (Side Cho Records)

By: Alex Steininger

This is what rock 'n' and roll and punk typify these days; fast guitars, slamming drums, and chunky bass lines over snotty vocals. Good thing Death On Wednesday does it well. The music is loud, but still melodic enough to hook you in and get stuck in your head. The band is tight and able to make the fury stick. And the vocals are clean enough to understand, but 'punk' enough to give the music a bite. Here is bright Southern California pop-punk with a rock overdrive. I'll give it a B.
