 After stints with Angry Samoans, Powertrip and Vox Pop, Jeff Dahl started what has become one of the most prolific solo careers in music today. With his latest disc Pancake 31 he once again shows that when it comes to doing punk rock the way it's supposed to be you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better. Described by Jeff as "my least punk record of all time" Pancake 31 is still by no means a major shift stylewise (and who would want one!!!), but having said that there is definitely more emphasis on glam than usual, and touches of rockabilly and R&B even show up along the way. A refreshing winner from one artist that manages to never disappoint.
