 There is something about this album that just didn't jive with me. The loud guitars and forced rock on top of an otherwise folk background was one of the reasons. One of the other reasons was the Middle Eastern folk influences that seemed to cloud up the American folk and alt-country leanings of the album. Even the alt-country songs just didn't do it for me. I'll give this a D.
