Spacehog The Hogyssey (Artemis Records) By: Alex Steininger
As much as I wanted to hate this album, the one-hit wonders Spacehog are back with another collection of guitar-driven pop music lit up with hooks galore, fiery melodies, and plenty to bounce around too. This is a Brit-pop album that relies on rock more than pop, but isn't afraid to show its roots in AM pop music. And though mainstream America has all but forgotten this band, The Hogyssey is an example of why, if given the chance, this 70's arena rock gone pop band might just find themselves basking in the Glam of their rock and stardom once again. I'll give it a B+.
