Spike Priggen The Very Last Thing That You Treasure (The Volare Label) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Beautifully crafted, laid-back pop songs as sunny as a fresh summer's day, and as melancholy as mid-fall, Spike Priggen's The Very Last Thing That You Treasure is a delicate, yet sophisticated acoustic pop record. However, Priggen's run-of-the-mill lyrics drag the songs down, playing with lyrical cliche after cliche. A decent album when all is said and done, though. I'll give it B-.
