Simon Says Shut Your Breath (Hollywood Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Fiercely melodic and potentially hard, Simon Says deliver crunchy, skull splitting rhythms alongside groove-heavy, concrete guitar riffs that will lock you in and take you for a ride. The vocals go from web-like, capturing you the minute you touch them, to violent screams that make you stand still in your place, awaiting their next move. This is how hard rock should be: full of emotion, depth, and plenty of power to muscle its way through one song to the next. There isn't a dull moment on Shut Your Breath, nor is there a minute where you'll be questioning why you're listening to the album. I'll give it an A-. 15
