Crematorium A World Where Only Nightmares Prevail mini-CD (demo) By: Jeb Branin
![](/images/sep.gif)
CREMATORIUM play a hybrid form of death metal that draws heavily on grindcore and chugga-chugga hardcore for influences. This is the kind of band that Victory Records signs when they want a more "metal" sound (think Darkest Hour or No Innocent Victim with more throb). The music hits super hard and although the vocalist has a growling voice he delivers the lyrics in a staccato bark (in time with the rhythm) that makes him relatively easy to understand. No new ground is being broken here but if this is your cup o' joe I can't see how this is going to disappoint. Best of all you can download the entire thing free courtesy of the band at http://www.daggas.net/crematorium/html/sounds.html or the label will send you the real CD for ABSOLUTELY FREE if you send them a dollar for postage.
