Zero 7 Simple Things (Palm Pictures) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Smooth, jazz-tingled 60's-era pop songs with a modern day electronic twist, Zero 7's Simple Things is a savory pop treat, ripe with glowing melodies, intriguing grooves, and a timeless, classic feel to it. At times it sounds like lush, orchestrated pop that builds and builds, while other times it is cool, breezy pop with a refreshing lo-fi jazz tingle. Glorious and gorgeous don't begin to describe the majestic nature of the record. I'll give it an A-.
