Trenchcoat Club Hitch Your Station Wagon To A Star (Caveat Emptor) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Beautifully composed, groove-laden AM radio pop, Trenchcoat Club's Hitch Your Station Wagon To A Star is a solid collection of indie pop's progression into the lo-fi. But, lush pop brilliance, shining high and bright, whether the songs are slow and faint ("Title Track"), electronically injected ("Quite Contrary"), or jangle-y ("Ballad of Mr. T"). Humorous pop songs that put a smile on your face, Trenchcoat Club have fun and deliver the goods. I'll give this an A-.
