Lost City Angels Lost City Angels (Nitro Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Featuring former members of Spring Heeled Jack and The Pilfers, two bands that took ska to another level during its third wave revival, Lost City Angels deliver a hard-nosed, fast and furious punk rock record with plenty of street credibility. But, for every ounce of street smarts they have in them, they've also got a knack for writing songs you can sing along - even at breakneck speed. This self-titled full-length, releases not even two years after the band first formed, is a sonic attack of punk rock, good ol' rock 'n' roll, and plenty of sing-along moments to keep you comfortable. This is how punk rock should be - equally potent and alive. I'll give it a B+.
