The Forgotten
Control Me (B.Y.O Records)

By: Alex Steininger

More concerned with playing fast, spitting out their agenda, and delivering the punk with a massive amount of street kick, The Forgotten say 'fuck you' to pop-punk and let the onslaught of buzzing guitars and ferocious rhythms collide. That doesn't mean they don't know how to write melodic punk, because they do. Control Me knows its limits and boundaries, giving into the melodic side and serving up hook-y, but snotty three-chord punk. I'll give it a C+.
