 Catchy and crunchy, laden with compelling hooks and lyrics that are fun, Guttermouth may not take themselves seriously, but they do put everything they have into their music. The tongue-in-cheek songs of Gusto, the band's latest, are funny and care free, written to sing along with, tap your feet too, and enjoy at high volumes. It's mindless punk rock. They're not trying to force-feed you with their agenda. They just want you to have a record you can crank and laugh at while you have fun with your friends. That is rock 'n' roll. Guttermouth does the punk rock right; I'll give it a B+.
