Screamfeeder
Rocks on the Soul (Shock Records)

By: Alex Steininger

Australia's Screamfeeder is capable of rocking, and they're capable of sitting back and being very mellow. From the sublime pop of opener of "Stopless", to the boy-girl vocal delivery of the more rockin', but equally melodic "Domino", and through the straight ahead buzz-rock, post-punk of "14 & 44", you get a taste of the abilities of Screamfeeder. They can scream or they can reel you in with a hook, depending on their mind frame at the top. This is the type of record you can listen to no matter what mood you're in.
