 Hailing from violence ravaged Israel, NAIL WITHIN play thrash metal with the raw intensity of the genre's pioneers tempered by the cold precision of more contemporary bands. Their superior song writing and musicianship mark them as a band destined to leave their stamp throughout the worldwide underground. Musically they are vehement, yet precise, in a way that harkens not only to 80s stalwarts like TESTAMENT and EXODUS, but to modern death thrashers like GOD FORBID or even SHADOW. Their vocalist is blessed with leather vocal chords. His voice lends the band flavors of the 80s pre-death Teutonic thrash wave originated by oldschool masters like SODOM, ASSASSIN, KREATOR and DESTRUCTION. I'm having a hard time imagining how any fan of violent metal could go wrong with this CD.
