 Fronted by David Shouse (Those Bastard Souls, The Grifters), The Bloodthirty Lovers, which also features Paul Taylor (of the North Mississippi Allstars) on drums and Thom Krupski on keyboards, unleash their debut. Telepathic is an atmospheric, space-laden journey through synthesizers and light indie-rock, even making stops in the funk and jazz genres, as "Transgression #9" will surely attest to. This is a strong debut from a band no stranger to making solid records. Telepathic holds your interest and without a doubt keeps things interesting. I'll give it a B.
