The Unicorns Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone! (Alien 8 Recordings) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Montreal-via-British Columbia's The Unicorns deliver an experimental pop ride with Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone!, their mythical, quirky full-length debut. Pushing pop to its limits. And fusing it with indie-rock, which they also push outside of the box, the result is a weirdly hooky, if not addictive collection of pulsating rhythms, frightening keyboards, ragged guitars that fly around without any regard, giving the record it's care-free feel, another alluring angle to this loose pop outfit. I'll give it a B.
