Fleshpress
Fleshpress (Shifty Records)

By: Jeb

This album was originally recorded and released on LP in Finland two or three years ago. The U.S. release on CD has waited until now. It was worth the wait. FLESHPRESS conjure up five tunes that last forty minutes. Forty minutes of music so measured and heavy that if Ozzy had heard this in his heyday he would have tried to bite the head off a badger and pit bull instead of a bat and dove. One of the things that makes the greatest impact on this album is that it isn't locked into one gear. You've got lots of tar-core to be sure, but it will occasionally shift into high gear and run the needle a little closer to the red. Reminiscent of BRAINOIL a bit. Y'know I love. You should too.
