Ninnuam Process of Life Separation (Crash Music Inc.) By: Jeb Branin
This band is one of those missing links between death metal and symphonic-tinged black metal. NINNUAM do almost everything right here insofar as they are heavy, fast, have good production, etc. The problem is that they bring almost nothing new to the table. For some sounds, that is okay because generic is a good thing. However, with this style (more and more being called "blackened death") generic is decidedly NOT good. I imagine this is going to get lots of solid praise (most of it deserved) in the underground but be warned this sounds like one of any number of releases from Century Media circa 1998-2002.
