Soledad Brothers Voice of Treason (Sanctuary Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
With one foot in the door of garage rock and another firmly planted in blues, Soledad Brothers'Voice of Treason melds the two with much grit and grime, creating a dirty, rough garage-blues record that will find you downing whiskey while you blast these songs. If you like your rock mixed up with the blues, and several other influences, played true-to-the-spirit, but with a lot of mud mixed in, than Voice of Treason is speaking your language. I'll give it a B-.
