Man Man Man Man (Ace Fu Records) By: Alex Steininger
Three songs, a little over ten minutes, and yet Man Man's self-titled EP is a carnival of adventure, recalling Vaudeville with its left-of-center punk rock aesthetics, quirkiness, and indie-rock mindset. It's a tricky, confusing, quite perplexing adventure, but once you figure it out you're sold, and the trip to try and figure it out is just as fun. Though it's hard to describe, and a bit difficult to listen to through your first spin, it gets easier, and more fun, with each additional listen. After all, it only lasts ten minutes! I'll give it a C+.
