Swell For All The Beautiful People (Beggar's Banquet) By: Geoff Melton
![](/images/sep.gif)
Over the course of five albums, San Francisco's Swell have managed to create their own little niche with a unique brand of moody, atmospheric rock, and their latest puts another well-deserved notch in their belt. Gently strummed acoustic guitars and subtle percussion meld with effects-laden vocals, keyboards, feedback and occasional experimentation resulting in a sound that's all their own. For All The Beautiful People is the perfect soundtrack for those dark, rainy days.
