 BACKYARD BABIES are a sweaty and greasy rawk n' roll outfit. They roar like a well tuned engine and they generate a sound loud enough to easily rise above the noise of the most raucous bar room crowd. Blood and beer. Denim and leather. Grass and gas. Chains and chicks. You get the picture, right? Well that's cool but remember it is just the "picture" okay? And you can't hear a picture! This is one band that you need to hear to really get it. You gotta get down and dirty with 'em... let 'em box your ears around a bit, y'know? They wield their guitars like they are heavy duty weapons and pound out their rhythms like they are putting the nails in your coffin. If you need more of an objective frame of reference you could easily call these boys punk but only if you filed them somewhere around the SUPERSUCKERS and NEW AMERICAN MOB, don't even begin to try and accuse them of having Days that are Green and remember they ain't using No fx? Got it? Good. Now, get it.
