Decent reggae-infused dub, Los Angeles' Irie Beats' lack of creativity and originality are made up for with solid rhythms and powerful grooves that quickly slip you into a trance. By far not the best dub out there, fans new to dub or people craving dub will find interesting moments to latch on to.
There are some good elements to this band, too, so even die-hard dub fans will find something to enjoy. The band is tight, they know their dub pretty well, and even when the music is unoriginal, it still offers up enough flavor to warrant one or two listens. I'll give it a C-.
