Dumptruck Lemmings Travel To The Sea (Devil in the Woods) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Pretty beats mixed with jarring guitars and an appetite to get loud, Dumptruck's latest is a collaboration being slow pop and guitar-focused indie rock. The outcome is a mesh of hooks, noise, and toe-tappin' beats. As an added bonus, a live CD covering Dumptruck material from 1986 & 1988 gives you over 70 minutes of Dumptruck to enjoy. So, if you're not completely satisfied with their latest album, you can always go remember the earlier days with a smile. I'll give this a B.
