Too Bad Eugene At Any Rate (Rock City Recordings) By: Alex Steininger
Signed to MxPx front man Mike Herrera's record label, Too Bad Eugene's sound parallel's that of MxPx. Sugar-coated punk so glossy and so saccharine, you can't help but want more after biting into it only once. Though, does it have lasting power? If MxPx is your thing, Too Bad Eugene's carbon-copy sound will fill you up and take up space alongside your MxPx collection. However, if MxPx is too pop for you, Too Bad Eugene will drive you mad and last five minutes at best in your CD player. I'll give it a C+.
