The Capitol Years Meet Yr Acres (Full Frame Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Distorted indie rock loosely based on folk rock, The Capitol Years muddy up the timid, shoegazer pop of indie heavyweights and deliver a collection of eerie, yet relaxing songs sure to put a smile on your face and send chills up your spine. At times unsettling, while completely soothing during other times, Meet Yr Acres is a hard album to grasp, but once you do you'll be fully entrenched in its mesh of beauty and darkness. I'll give it a B.
