Alex Woodard Nowhere Near Here (Woodshack) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Alex Woodard's Nowhere Near Here is a punchy folk-rock album with plenty of pop motivation. The songs are energetic, charged, and have a bouncy rhythm to them. Woodard's voice is clear and meaty. Though, falling into the typical male singer-songwriter realm at times, Woodard still packs quite the folk-rock punch, delivering an album worth more than a few listens. I'll give it a B.
