 Based on the strength of their last 7" I had sky-high expectations for this album. I was bargaining on it being stellar... but it turned out even better than that. STRONG INTENTION are at the forefront of the new wave of right-coast hatecore thrash bands. In contrast to the increasingly popular DEP-style, STRONG INTENTION strip their music down to the hardcore's most basic ingredients: speed, rage and intensity. They take the full-scale violence of today's extreme hardcore and deliver it 1982 style - at about a million notes-per-second. The end result is one of the top ten hardcore records of the year, hands down. I realize a person could quickly go broke if they purchased every album I recommend in any given issue of this zine, however, no album comes with a higher recommendation than "What Else Can We Do But Fight Back." 15
