Lanterna
Elm Street (Badman)

By: Alex Steininger

Much like the cover art of Elm Street, which displays pictures of elm leaves on the ground on what I presume to be a cold fall morning, Lanterna's instrumental songs are dark and cold, windy and breezy, peaceful and tranquil. They bring out the naturist in you, making you crave a long walk where all you do is think about life, observing nature and its beauty, while taking deep breathes and living life for yourself. It is an optimistic record, filled with hope and passion, rekindling the love inside of you that you have for all of nature's creations. And if you don't get that from this album, you'll at least get the deeply beautiful compositions that Lanterna boldly designs and slips your way. I'll give this a B+.15
